Permanently stop a recurring payment after it has been paused.
If a recurring payment is no longer required, it can be permanently cancelled. This is useful when a service or subscription is no longer being provided or a customer's contract has ended.
NOTE: Before a recurring payment can be cancelled, it must first be paused. For more information, see the article: Pause a Recurring Payment
Cancel a Recurring Payment
1. Visit the Recurring Payments History page and locate the recurring payment you wish to cancel with the paused status in orange. Select the paused recurring payment to open the transaction details page.
2. At the bottom of the transaction details page, click Cancel Subscription.
3. A confirmation window will appear. Click Cancel It to confirm.
4. Once the recurring payment has been cancelled, the recurring payment will no longer appear in active or paused status and will be marked as Cancelled in red in your history page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once a recurring payment is cancelled, it cannot be reactivated. If the customer resumes their service or subscription, a new recurring payment plan must be created.
