This article will show you how to send money from Canada (CAD) to US (USD) using Cashflow.io.
Sending money from Canada to the USA is easy with Cashflow.io. Here are the steps
- From the Main Menu, click on the Send card.
- Click on the Cross Border card. At this moment, the exchange rate will be locked for 5 minutes. If the timer runs out, a new rate will be issued and locked for another 5 minutes, providing you with additional time to complete the transaction.
- Select the Funding Account from which the money will be sent and enter the amount. You can either enter the amount you want to send in CAD (Amount Sent) or USD (Amount Received). The conversion will be calculated automatically based on the current exchange rate.
- Fill out the recipient's details.
- Enter the recipient's bank details OR send the recipient a payment link (this will enable the recipient to enter their own banking credentials through the payment link via Email and/or SMS TXT).
- Optional steps: You can add an extra layer of security by using a Secret Message and adding an approver for this transaction. You can also attach invoices and other supporting documents as well.
- Secret Message: You can rely on setting up a secret word or phrase with your Recipient to secure your wire transfer. You should only share this secret message with the recipient in a separate email or by phone. Never include it in the Notes.
- Approver: You can ensure that all the details are correct by adding an approver.
- Attachments: Simply drag and drop the files in the designated area in the form to upload invoices and other supporting documents.
- Click Send Payment to complete the transaction.
