Managing your Cashflow.io Billing

The Billing details feature allows you to view your payment methods (credit card or bank account) and add or modify them in the settings of your Cashflow.io account.

In this article, you will learn the following:

  • Viewing your payment methods
  • Adding a credit card
  • Adding a bank account

Viewing your payment methods

This section will detail how to view your current payment methods found in your Cashflow.io account and is required to make any modifications in the following sections.

  1. On the upper right of the page, click the Account Menu and select Settings.
  2. You will be directed to the Settings page. Select the Billing Details section on the right.
  3. The Billing Details page will open. On this page, you can view the billing details and the existing payment methods used for billing. Payment methods can be activated or deactivated using the "On" slider and the preferred payment method selected using the "Billing" slider.

Adding a credit card

After following the section on viewing your payment methods, follow the below steps to add a credit card to your Cashflow.io account.

  1. In the Billing Details page, select the Add a new credit card button.
  2. The Add Credit Card page opens. Specify your credit card information:
    1. Cardholder Name
    2. Card Number
    3. Expiry
    4. CVV
  3. Click the SAVE button. The credit card will be added and will appear in the Credit Cards section and can be activated and selected as the preferred payment method.

Adding a bank account

After following the section on viewing your payment methods, follow the below steps to add a bank account to your Cashflow.io account.

  1. In the Billing Details page, select either the Add account via Online Banking  OR  Add Account via Void Cheque button.
    1. If you selected the Add account via Online Banking, the online banking page will open. Select your Financial Institution and login. Follow the steps on the screen and once finished move to Step 2 below.
    2. If you selected the Add account via Void Cheque, the void cheque page will open. Enter the following bank account information:
      1. Transit 
      2. Institution
      3. Account
  2.     Click the SAVE button. The bank account will be added and will appear in the       ECHEQUES section and can be activated and selected as the preferred payment method.
