Track Referral Status

In this article, you will learn how partners can track merchant referral status. Referral status helps partners understand where the merchant is in the review, onboarding, or activation process.

Where to track referral status

Partners can track referral status in the Partner Portal, where available.

Common referral status labels

A referral may move through the following status stages:

  • Submitted
  • Under Review
  • Discovery Scheduled
  • Awaiting Merchant Information
  • Onboarding
  • Active
  • Not Qualified
  • Lost / Closed

What each status means

  • Submitted

    The referral has been submitted and received.

  • Under Review

    Cashflow.io is reviewing the referral to confirm fit and next steps.

  • Discovery Scheduled

    A discovery call has been scheduled with the merchant.

  • Awaiting Merchant Information

    Cashflow.io is waiting for required information from the merchant.

  • Onboarding

    The merchant is moving through onboarding requirements.

  • Active

    The merchant is active.

  • Not Qualified

    The merchant is not qualified based on the review.

  • Lost / Closed

    The opportunity is no longer moving forward.

How to check referral status

Step 1: Log in to the Partner Portal.

Step 2: Go to the merchant or referral tracking area.

Step 3: Find the merchant name.

Step 4: Review the current status label.

Step 5: Check whether any partner or merchant action is needed.

If a referral status appears incorrect

If a referral is missing or the status appears incorrect, contact Cashflow.io support or your Cashflow.io representative.

Include:

  • Partner name
  • Merchant name
  • Merchant contact
  • Current status shown, if any
  • Expected status, if known
  • Screenshot, if applicable
